Hamdi is an experienced Senior industrials practitioner over 40 years.

He is currently Chairman, of Tractel Group, a manufacturer of safety access and lifting solutions ,Allied Glass Containers, a leading manufacturer of premium glass containers , Rotothem Group a leading manufacturer of instrumentation and measurement devices and a Non-Exec Director of V Ships Group.

He has previously held Chairman and Non-Executive Directorships at AES Seal, Husky Injection  Molding Systems, Mold Masters, Olaer Group, Hyva.

Bv, NORMA GmBH, EWS Rail and several other industrials and services businesses . He is also a Senior Advisor to OMERS PE Europe , one of the largest pension funds.

Prior to this he held senior executive roles at Parker Hannifin, BBA Group, SCA Packaging, Allied Signal / Honeywell and Alstom.

He has a BSc Hon degree in Mechanical Engineering and MBA.
