Winner - Corndel

The LDC Growth Through Innovation Award

Winner - Touchlight

Touchlightis disrupting the decades-old technology of DNA manufacture to advance genetic medicines. Its revolutionary platform, offering superior safety, speed and scalability, is being adopted in the manufacture of state-of-the-art vaccines across the globe, including for COVID-19. Touchlight also develops its own DNA vaccines for cancer and infectious diseases.
 

The Give a Grad a Go Employer of the Year Award

Winner - Invopak

Invopak is a family-owned, 80-employee agent, distributor and manufacturer, providing a comprehensive range of packaging to over 5,000 B2B and B2C customers. Part of the Involvement Group, along with three other trading divisions, it is the leading supplier of metal and plastic rigid containers in the UK and Ireland.
 
 

The inews Pivot for Purpose Award (Corporate)

Winner - Mercedes AMG & UCL

UK-based F1 teams pooled their resources in ‘Project Pitlane’. It focusedon the core skills of the F1 industry: rapid design, prototype manufacture,test and skilled assembly. Part of that response involved a group ofalmost 50 volunteers from the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team whohelped a local ventilator manufacturer ramp up its production and buildventilators for the NHS.


The inews Pivot for Purpose Award (Community)

Winner - Pretty Gorgeous Jams

Pretty Gorgeous Jams has helped support people in poverty duringthe COVID-19 pandemic by donating one meal to a family in need throughthe Jedidiah charity for every jam jar sold. Starting with 100 families as aone-off initiative, the project expanded to support 1,050 families in 46schools across Hertfordshire, Luton and Liverpool following the wave ofredundancies across the country.
