David Cameron, Prime Minister has described the awards as “the Oscars of great British business.”

The Amazon Digital Business of the Year will be awarded to the business who best optimises all aspects of ecommerce to deliver strong growth through an exceptional customer experience. Entries are submitted via an online form here.

Simon Johnson, Director of Amazon Seller Services UK said, “The digital economy is providing a big boost to the overall British economy, and we want to celebrate the progress that British businesses are making in going digital to provide an even better experience to customers while growing their companies and creating more jobs.   It's great to see companies large and small, in every sector, and all across the country, making forward strides in e-commerce, and we want to help recognise their success.”

Last year's Digital Business of the Year was awarded to student verification and marketing specialists UNiDAYS® who demonstrated strong leadership and an innovative digital spirit, enabling them to grow from a new venture in 2011 to a leading digital business within 4 years.
