Virgin Atlantic: delighted to sponsor the 2019 Customer Experience and Loyalty award

10 May 2019

For the second year running, Virgin Atlantic is the official travel sponsor of the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards. In 2019, the airline is also sponsoring a category very close to its heart: The Customer Experience and Loyalty award.

Why? Ever since it was launched by Sir Richard Branson over 30 years ago, outstanding customer experience has been at the forefront of what Virgin Atlantic does.

At selected airports, eligible customers can enjoy the Clubhouse. These luxurious private airport lounges offer amazing food and drink and a calm, welcoming space to relax or work in before the flight. Some even offer spa treatments to get guests meeting-ready.

Onboard, no matter which cabin they're travelling in, customers' journeys are made even more enjoyable by the friendly and attentive crew. They can settle in with the latest movies, boxsets and music to and enjoy delicious food and drink. Plus, there's onboard WiFi to help stay connected with work or family.

Plus, this year, Virgin Atlantic is also welcoming an exciting new addition to their fleet: the A350. This incredible aircraft is packed with innovative design, thoughtful features and unmistakable Virgin Atlantic flair. Plus, a totally new Upper Class cabin—ideal for business travellers.

The airline's partnership with Delta Air Line (going strong after five years) is another example of excellent customer experience. Together, the two airlines have redefined transatlantic business travel, offering competitive fares and a large network (over 200 destinations in North America), along with convenient travel planning and reciprocal frequent flyer benefits.

The Delta partnership has also allowed Virgin Atlantic to increase its connections to business hubs across the US, with additional flights to the Silicon Valley area.

Virgin Atlantic is constantly working to increase connect more travellers to global business destinations too. In September 2019, the airline is launching a brand new route to Tel Aviv, a leading tech hub. And in 2020, there will be a new London- São Paulo service, offering business travellers even more choice.

All this focus on customer experience really pays off, as Virgin Atlantic products and services regularly win awards. For example, the airline won Best Premium Economy Class at the highly-regarded 2018 Business Traveller Awards.
